Strandhotel Alte Donau - Vienna

i loved this peaceful hotel, its convenient location and responsive staff. location: the venue was really close to the next u-bahn station-kragan, the centre of vienna, and vienna international center where the un building is located. i often went to le burger to pick up some food. the room with a nice bathroom. the food selection at breakfast was very good and amazing.

I truly enjoyed the reasonably priced hotel. The breakfast was amazing. The location is excellent, close to the public transport system.

I can strongly recommend this hotel to tenants who are really inerested in quiet and friendly atmosphere. The hotel isn't very big but the staff is really helpful and attentive. It's located quite close to the downtown and the biggest shopping mall of Vienna. The room was spacious with comfortable beds and was thoroughly tidied up every day. Breakfasts were fresh and delicoius. I can resume that the hotel was worth the money we paid for it

The staff were very helpful, friendly and very accomodating - I contacted them by email to ask if they provided tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. They emailed me back to say they didn't but on arrival at the hotel they infomed us that they had put a kettle and cups in our room. The breakfast catered for everyone and was fantastic. Rooms are spotless as is the rest of the hotel. Very close to local U-Bahn station that will have you in the city centre in 10 minutes.

While we was there the weather abnormally hot for the time of year and on coming back in the evenings we found the room very warm so opened the windows. However in the mornings there was a lot of traffic passing by from 5.30 onwards so was woke up very early. That said we didn't mention this and I'm not sure if there is any provision for when the summer kicks in

The bed in the comfort queen room was very comfy. the room had a flat-screen TV with cable channels, central heating, and an individual safe. - the breakfast offered scrambled eggs, meats, and pastries. - the hotel has a comfortable and incredible location, within walking distance from everywhere.

Rooms reasonably spacious, comfortable and very clean. Friendly staff.

Noise from corridor and other rooms early every morning was more disturbing than average, perhaps due to the hard floors. Not all breakfast staff spoke English, although they were friendly and attentive.

Nice breakfast buffet. Fast and reliable wifi. I liked the shower, which is not separated from the room, and the ample and free parking. Very quiet despite the busy Wagramer Strasse.

No lift to the rooms floor; could be inconvenient if you have more luggage. Both of the U-Bahn stations nearby are a little further away than expected.

Excellent breakfast. Spotless and comfortable rooms with great views of the river. Helpful and friendly staff. Convenient location near public transportation and a supermarket. Nice gesture for our baby.

Free parking, big flat screen, new building, fresh, convenient location, easy to get to down town - 10 minutes by subway, 2 minutes walking distance to a good restaurant terrace along the shore of the Old Danube. I would still consider it for the next trip to Vienna

lack of air conditioning, slippers and drinks in the fridge. Wi-Fi Internet connection was quite poor

I like the service provided by the host. They are really kind and nice. All the decorations are delicate and it looks comfortable and warm. The host will be willing to answer of of your questions and give you the best experience here.

The value for money was great and the room was great with a beautiful view of the Danube. The location of the hotel was convenient, close to the metro and a mall, and the staff treated us very well.

Food for breakfast could be improved with more affordable options.

The best asset is the personnel. Staff is very nice and helpful, always looking forward to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Rooms were ample, quite and very clean. There are two sections in the hotel. Rooms in the newer sections looked better than the older ones, which were still ok. Breakfast was fine. Fast and free wireless internet connection. Well connected to downtown and University by trams and subway. Nearby shopping center for a selection of restaurants. All together make a very nice package.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Vienna for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was located just outside the city center, but it was a perfect location for me as it was next to the river and the lake, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The staff at the hotel were extremely polite and helpful, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The room was comfortable and well-lit, and the bathroom was equally impressive. The breakfast offered by the hotel was delicious, and I appreciated the convenience of being just a short walk away from the subway station.

I do recommend this hotel.
